Reason for starting? 

As a senior interim professional myself, I waited awhile, hoping one of the more experienced businesses/companies may come up with better solutions to challenge the entire global industry of interim and contract recruitment, especially the way we are perceived, hired and managed.

But no one did. So I took it upon myself in mid-2015 to start researching the gap, the scale of problem and potential solutions to help not today or tomorrow, but in three, four or even five years’ time… Longer-term solutions to a growing industry.

Started 15.July.2106, InteriMarket is a recruitment platform where users can easily get access to self-employment opportunities or short term contract jobs from companies in the UK and the rest of the world.

We focus on skill and job-fit based hiring rather than CV hiring

CVs were first introduced in 1482 when Leonardo da Vinci wanted to present his professional resume.

In 21st Century business leaders are looking for more technologically savvy means of analyzing their candidate selection and hire based on practical skills, behaviors and competencies. 

InteriMarket allows professionals to create unique profiles showcasing applicable subject expertise through the use of video, audio and concise content which is all put into consideration if a candidate is to be selected.

The InteriMarket story.

I have been in the recruitment industry (HR, talent management, resourcing programs etc.) for over 10 years as a qualified career counsellor with an MBA in Finance.
Prashant (cofounder) and I were friends before I introduced him to the idea - as soon as he learnt more about it he could relate to the pains and felt passionate about helping create technology and service that would make lives of millions of interims and longer term consultants across the globe better when the platform was ready to serve everyone. 

From memories point of view the journey was and has been like a roller coaster, we had tones of ideas, discussions, scrapping of them and starting all over again. 

In the early days, I remember working on our initial research data till 3 am in the morning out of my apartment lounge drinking coffee and not being aware of the time, but that was not all, we would start again on a couple of hours sleep and helped each other’s drive and challenges. 

Biggest Success.


Well, from managing an abusive father, to immigration at 18 to the U.K. and struggling for 10 years with other personal setbacks, I feel that building my life to the stage where it is today, having the confidence to build a vision for a successful global brand and unwavering dedication to my personal and professional growth… that is my biggest achievement. I am my biggest achievement, despite whatever has happened to me.

InteriMarket is growing pretty steadily this year that last month we added 1200 new user and we are focusing on providing the best user experience using all resources at our disposal.
